“A Positive Mindset, Promotes Positive Behavior”
Our Philosophy
Chicago-land Community Connectors is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and empowering our community through various programs and initiatives. A vision of a safer community is: a place where everyone feels secure and protected from harm, where neighborhoods are welcoming and supportive, with a strong sense of belonging, where residents actively participate in maintaining safety, and where access to essential services and opportunities for positive development are readily available, allowing all individuals to thrive without fear of violence or crime; essentially, a place where people can live, work, and play freely and confidently in their community.
Triple C’s Mission
The mission of the Chicagoland Community Connectors & Violence Interrupters is to curve the cycle of violence & crime on Chicago & Lake County streets while ensuring that the community is engaged in its own health & safety recovery plan. The Chicago Community Connectors is a bridge to resources & services that address the evolving issues within the community by promoting activities and actions that help improve and enhance a sense of community and responsibility that focus on both individual strengths and community unity. Providing resources necessary to ensure positive outcomes in the community such as job training for the real world, feeding the hungry, providing essentials to children to guarantee success rates, assisting in reintegrating formerly incarcerated individuals back into the work force and thus reducing recidivism.
